Sound Off !!! - Introduce Yourself

Lets see. Grew up in little Newton Falls, Ohio a lifelong Buckeye fan. First game memories are watching Keith Byers and Chris Carter in the 80's. After graduating High School, left the great state of Ohio for a career in the Air Force. Spent the last 8 years trooting around the globe, but never lost focus of what was going on in Columbus. Still make the occasional game when I get back on leave, and have been to 12 overall. Despite a fulltime work schedule, recently finished my degree in Atmospheric Science and am now a meteorologist in the AF at Scott AFB, Illinois. I proudly fly my 2002 NC flag outside my home year round, and the inside is a virtual shrine to all things tOSU. Favorite Buckeye:Eddie, favorite game:2003 Fiesta Bowl (although this years SCUM game is a close second after all the adversity).

Grew up in Waynesboro, PA (basically middle of the state on the maryland border)... parents were MSU fans, PSU was far away, MD was across the border, Pitt was 3 hrs away...

Somehow I just became a buckeye fan and have stuck to it despite moving back to MI.

First tOSU game was in East Lansing when we were embarrassed in 99 7-23 :(

My dad redeemed himself by taking me to UM central in 01. I screamed my head off along with my dad (MSU fans hate UM a lot too), as Wells and co. kept the Big House silent the entire first half. Then out of good sportsmanship, Wells got hurt so that Navarre could mount a unsuccessful comeback.

My only other experience of The Game was this year. Both times, 9-1 UM @ 6-4 tOSU... both times blowouts where llloyd got outcoached majorly (I count the first game as a blowout since without the injury it would have been about 55-3).

I am long time lurker but just registered lately. I was born and raised here in C-bus. I have been a buckeyes fan since I think I was in the womb. There are many pictures of me wearing my favorite shirt, a Keith Byers jersey. Graduated from Watterson High, where I was a player and follower of Coach Golden's Winged T offense.

After High school got a degree from Miami University (hence the muohio) where my fraternity brothers and I would chose to watch the bucks instead of Travis Prentice and later Big Ben (looking back, that might have been a mistake, but oh well!!). Graduated in '02, where I moved back to Columbus and have been there ever since. Now, during gamedays, I can be found roaming the tailgates and the VC.

My favorite buck would have to be Byers, Speilman, or Hawk.

I was born and raised in Col.Graduated from Columbus Walnut Ridge in 72. Home of the 71 AAA State Basketball champs(The team Adolph Rupp called the greatest HS team of all time!!)Graduated from tOSU in 76. Favorite memory, sitting in the South Stands as a freshman when Archie had his first great game. Telling all who wanted to know who is this guy, that Archie would be the next great Buckeye. He killed Walnut Ridge in football, running for over 200 yds his senior year with a bad ankle. I've lived in Illinois since 79 and follow the Bucks religiously.I raised my son a Buckeye fan to the chagrin of my Illini friends.Go Bucks!

Born & raised in C-Bus, first games I went to were in '68.....dad was in his early 60's then and I was indoctrinated early on into all of the ritual and pomp that is Ohio State football. Hearing him speak of Warfield, Ferguson, Otis; Super Vic J., and all of the ghosts I never knew was something to be respected and pondered upon. I also met and shook hands with Woody when I was around 12 because of my dad's connections to the Department. Woody had a way of making everyone feel like they had something great to offer the world......a real straight shooter.

Going to Ohio Stadium on Satrudays was kind of like going to church, (better) and after dad and his good friend shared a small flask (for medicinal purposes you know?) of fine scotch, all of scUM recieved a thorough blessing from the choir.......... :osu:

Hi everyone. I joined this site the night before signing day, but I have been lurking over here since the beginning of the football season. Like most of us here I am a huge Buckeye fan. I have been a member of Bucknuts for three years. I started visiting bucknuts when Cooper was fired. So I remember Clarity, Milini and the rest of the group. When I found out that they started their own site I was eager to come to it. I have always enjoyed their insight. I live in Fremont Ohio home of Bob Brudinski and a Scum players. I am planning on attending TOSU for college and I want to major in journalism or communications. Thank you for reading my post and Go Bucks!

I was born in Lakewood, Ohio and moved to Florida when I was 6. I graduated from the College of Charleston (no football team), but grew up loving the Buckeyes and Hurricanes. Father is OSU alum and Mother and sister are Miami (Florida) alums'. The 2002 Fiesta Bowl was interesting because I watched it with the family and it was on the same day we brought our first daughter home from the hospital. She slept in my arms the whole game despite all the yelling and cheering.

Other than that my fondest Buckeye years were between 93-98 when I was in college. The 2 guys that lived next door were from Philadelphia and were Penn State and Notre Dame fans. We'd wake up every morning at 11:30 with severe hangovers, order pizza and wings and start drinking again by the time the 12:00 game. The 98 Michigan State and 94 Penn State games were toughest to swallow!

I attended my first road Ohio State game in Raleigh last year and have been to Ohio Stadium 8 ........(all wins) times and been to 3 bowl games in Orlando and Tampa.........(all losses)!

born in Logan OH in a family that were semi fans. i decided at age 5 my dream was to play for tOSU. sadly no rudy stories here :p. but i have followed them from the edge of my couch ever since. ive been on campus several times but have never been to a game. im making up for this by painting my weight room scarlet and gray . im a huge fan and don't see that changing anytime soon.

fav players would be joe germaine and jerry rudzinski. he reminds me of the way i played the position. wasn't the biggest guy and wasn't the fastest. just always seemed to end up at the bottom of every pile.

I was born and raised in Ironton, Ohio, and I live here today. I graduated from Denison University in 1984, but my dad graduated from OSU and our family has always rooted for the Buckeyes. We've had season tickets since before I was born, and the first games I attended were in the magical year of 1968. My father passed away in 1995, but I still make sure that my mother gets to attend a few games every year. I have been lucky enough to I attend every Ohio State-Michigan game from 1980 to 2000, and I've probably about 150 Ohio State games altogether.

I have been a Buckeye fan ever since 1986. I have never attended tOSU, but I bleed Scarlet and Gray. I attend all home games as a stadium usher, and try to never miss any televised road games. My favorite Buckeyes are Chris Speilman, and Michael Jenkins.

I have been a buckeye fanatic from birth. My brothers, sister and I had no options as my father is a Buckeye fanatic also. I was born in University Hospital in Columbus. Grew up in Lexington, Ohio. 6 out of seven went to OSU the other Ohio Northern. That's my fault I went to OSU but graduated from ONU.
My wife and I own a business. We have 5 children. 4 girls and 1 boy. We live in Sycamore, Ohio.
My children have no options. They have been taught to be buckeyes since they could talk. They would tell you Michigan stinks before they new what a Michigan was.
We have a horse farm with around 20 horses. The reason for the name 'buckinghorse'.
Come visit our family on our horsefarm's web site www.pahlspaintedacres.com.

I was born a Buckeye and have proudly lived as one my entire life! As a baby I had an OSU mobile and my idol was Chris Spielman through high school and college. I served my country as a Buckeye and I can say I will proudly die as a Buckeye. Hopefully I will earn a degree from tOSU in the very near future I just applied to the Masters Physical Therapy program.

Like muohiobuck, im a long time lurker. I come to BP for all of the excellent things Buckeye one can find and im an avid fan of recruiting (you guys get great info btw). I was born in and off and on lived in Springfield, OH (which btw i see that stud tight end from cali is also from Springfield). I lived in columbus for a period of time when i was younger and in elementary school. I was in boyscouts then and we used to usher the football games as a troop here at OSU. Thats when i fell in love. My first game was Notre Dame in the shoe in what i think was 95 or 96. Ive watched every single game since that day either in attendance or on tv. I now am a third year student here at OSU and purchase the student season tickets each year. I was at the scUM game this year for my first scUM game ever and am now even more deeply in love with the Buckeyes than before (greatest day and atmosphere i have ever seen in my life with ups and downs such as going up 7 on Gonzalezs score and then giving up 2 scores to scUM before punishing them the rest of the game w/ our D and Troy Smith). Anyways, im just sounding off to say hi and to say how much i appreciate everything that you moderators and such do for us die hard buckeye fans. You are the greatest BP, keep up all you do!
