You can actually curse here without misspelling it (within reason).

My advice would be to keep it in a solid color cup and don't be either obvious, or obnoxious.

My experience would be to use a coffee style inslated cup with a lid or something of the sort.

Born in Washington DC, raised in Daytona Beach, Florida. Graduated from Mainland High School (Home of Vince Carter, Buster Davis, George McCloud, Denzel Washington) and joined the Marines where I did a lot different things in a lot of places. I do not regret the decision.

Met my wife, an Upper Arlington Grad, at Camp Pendleton, California. We married here in Arlington on September 11th 1993 and returned to San Dog to finish our enlistments. She was in the Navy. Three months after our wedding, as a Christmas gift, we received two tickets to the Holiday Bowl (OSU vs BYU) from her parents. I had watched Ohio State football my whole life and was already a fan of the program. But seeing them live in a bowl game made me a fan for life.

We both got out of the service and had to decide who's hometown to choose. Daytona has the beaches, hot chics, loud racecars and Harleys. Columbus has an economy, jobs, and Ohio State football. SOLD!!!

We have been back here ever since 1995 and my first game in the Shoe was Notre Dame.

I met some people and made some connections and was offered a chance to work parking for the Buckeye football games. One of the benefits is that my employee ID gets me into games for free. I'm still doing it and have only missed two games since 1997.

Just spent my 11th wedding anniversary in the Horseshoe and couldn't have asked for a better finish. A win.

Go Bucks!!!!

Forgot to sound off, heh.
Born in Hammond, IN. Raised in Lake Central High School where I started for four years. Two at LB and two at CB. Competed against guys like James Banks and Jeff Somardija (of Tennessee and Notre Dame, respecitvely).

Currently attending Purdue University where I walked onto the football team's practice squad 3 years in a row, and quit in time for the season, 3 years in a row.

Twenty years old, single, 5'10" 195 *ding* run just under a 4.6. Network Adminstration major and I work for my friend's consulting company.

I would have done this sooner but I had no idea what this thread was (guess I should have looked at it huh?).

Well my name is Josh and I have been a Buckeye fan since I was born.I'm 22 and live just outside of I-270 in Hilliard, Ohio (for those who don't know... hilliard is a suburb of columbus). I only post when I'm at work because I don't have a computer at the house seeing as how my Ex girlfriend took it from me when we broke up. I graduated from West High School in Columbus where I played football for three years before finding out that women had a lot more to offer me than a bunch of sweatty guys. I now work for Columbia Gas of Ohio durring the day and coach pee wee football in the evenings. I have only been to two Buckeye games in my life, the first was in 2000 @ Purdue when we lost and the second was the 2002 Minnesota game. That's pretty much all I can think of so I'll just quit yapping now.

Well, i've been registered here for a while, but haven't posted yet. I usually read more than post, I'm also a member of Bucknuts (eatalotacarrots), but that place has gone to hell, so I don't really visit there much anymore.

Anyways, I was born in 1977 and have been a Buckeye fan since then. Grew up in Fort Recovery, Ohio and went to Ohio State from 1995-2000 majoring in Accounting/Finance. Moved to Portland Oregon after school and still live there (great city), now work as a Treasury Analyst for Xerox. Thank God for Gameplan, else I probably would have had to move back to Ohio just to watch the Buckeyes. I love the 9 AM start for games, nothing better than spending a Saturday watching College Football from 9AM until 8PM or later...

My all-time favorite Buckeye is Tim Anderson. First Buckeye game was a blowout against NW in the Carlos Snow era- with my Dad and brother. To this day, my most painful memory is the '98 loss to Michigan State, all the losses to scUM sucked but nothing was more painful than watching the best team in the country lose that game....

My first post!

Hello fellas!

Glad to be a part of the group.

I guess I'll start off by saying that I got my first introduction to the who message board world over at BN - posted a few times - got blasted by Mili and Tibor :) - then faded back into the shadows.

I kept coming back - reading and learning the culture and standards of what makes a great forum.

Then, everything hit the fan at BN and I found myself migrating over here more at the Planet.

I now see and understand why BN has detoriated so much.

I've been following the Bucks since '85 - ironically when my parents moved to Michigan.

I was always teased and ridiculed by my classmates (scUM bangwagon riders) during those years - I think we lost in '85, '86, and '88 to scUM, but I remained true.

Thankfully my parents found a way to move back to Ohio where I've been ever since.

I married my highschool sweetheart and have one daughter (who wears her OSU cheerleading outfit every game day  ).

Go Bucks!

I've been a member here forever but somehow never signed this thread... so here goes.

Unlike most other people here, I was born in central Wisconsin and sadly grew up a University of Wisconsin fan. In high school i played football for one of the top programs in the state which introduced me to the joy of being recruited to play college ball. I was offered by a number of smaller programs but by the end of my senior year, i decided i had enough of playing football and decided to focus my attention on watching it instead.

At this time, i also became close with a friend who's family was originally from Columbus and who's older brother attended Ohio State. The family provided me with an extra application to OSU and sent it in with nothing to lose. The admissions department not only admitted me but provided me with a great academic scholarship which was just too much to ever consider turning down. I quickly decided to attend OSU even though i knew none of the traditions associated with the Ohio State University and had never even set foot inside the state of Ohio.

At the end of my senior year, i decided to visit campus with my friend and we planned to stay with his older brother who was a sophomore living in Dracket Hall. We arrived from WI quite late and were persuaded to attend a drink and drown for the OSU Rowing team at Panini's South. I promptly became overserved and felt so hungover the next day that i never got to tour the campus during the entire time i was there for my visit. Even though my tour of campus consisted of peering into a toilet bowl all night, i still was excited to get out of Wisconsin and experience something new and exciting at OSU.

My next visit came over the summer when i was paired up with freshman football player named Will Smith for freshman orientation. I finally got a real tour of campus and continued to have quite an experience living up the Ohio State nightlife with Will and the guys. When school started a few weeks later i moved into my dorm on south campus the first day possible and took in my first buckeye game against Miami of Ohio.

I had been to a ton of games and Wisconsin and Minnesota but i instantly noticed that there was something special about the games in the Shoe. I realized that fans didn't come to games because they were something to do on Saturdays, Ohio State fans come to the Shoe because they absolutely love their team and want to share the tradition and experience with other buckeye faithful. Even though i was not a native Ohioian and had only been on campus for a few weeks, i quickly became a buckeye fanatic which brings me to where i am now.

I now teach in Tempe, Arizona and not a day goes by without me thinking of ways to get back to Ohio. I have even considered going to law school just for the opportunity to move back to Ohio and attend OSU once again. Every year i fly in for a game and one of these years i just may not come back... :)

I guess that's my story and i feel honored to share my buckeye addication with the rest of you on this board.

Go bucks!
