Helllloooo Buckeye Nation

OSU BSME&EE '82 (Johns Hopkins '86, Stanford-Sloan '94) but I am a Buckeye to the core. Dad played with Schembechler at Miami and Woody recruited my Dad's players when he was coaching. Rod Gerald and I were in Art 290 together....met Schlicter a few times (an A** but always hung around with the Schaeffer twins). I drove Earl Bruce in a 'vette in the homecoming parade.

I hate TSUN more than you can possibly imagine. I am not [Mark May]ting you one bit.

Lived in LA for the past 13 years among obnoxious USC fans (UCLA alums are fine) and was enjoying the payback until JT let me down (still love the guy...on balance a fantastic coach that made a stupid move for no personal gain).

Nothing matches the spirit of this great university and Buckeye Nation. Go Bucks

Welcome LeftCoast. I understand what it's like to live with the enemy. I work in Ann Arbor.

Let's enjoy this year! Surely will be an interesting one!

Hello Bucks Fans

My name is Scott.... My favorite musician is Clapton, I live in NC and have lived all over the Eastern United States since 1978 and I was born in Farmington MI, not far from Ann Arbor...
You guessed it, I am a Michigan fan, have been since the QB's were Corny Greene and Dennis Franklin.
But unlike most Big Ten Fans, I do not view Ohio State (or Michigan State for that matter) as the enemy. Where would Michigan Football be without the rivalry with Ohio State?
I root for Ohio State in every game every year except for 1. I root for every Big Ten team in Bowl Games. I am not going to root against the BIG TEN conference when they are playing against the evil vermin like USC, ALABAMA, FLORIDA, NOTRE DAME, MIAMI, and TEXAS. I wouldn't root for those teams if they were playing the Taliban.
I get sick and tired of the "Good Ole Boy" coaches consortium in the south controlling the bowl game matchups with their secret ballot and their pencils... enough to make you reach for an air sick bag.
So you see, from my point of view, the enemy is not OHIO STATE, PENN STATE, AND MICHIGAN STATE.... they are simply rivals, merely opposed by an act of fate..... The enemy is outside the BIG TEN.....
IF you can live with that.... I look forward to talking some straight football smack on this site.... I figure if you want to know where you stand, ask your rival....

Hello all.

I am a 2011 tOSU graduate living in Columbus. I love this city and this team. Every Saturday at the Horseshoe for the past 4 years, I have joined 105,000 of my closest friends in watching tOSU football wipe the field with whichever poor bastards stepped foot in it! I was born in Cincinnati, but have lived in Columbus since I was 3. For as long as I can remember, I have been an OSU fan. Born a Buckeye, will die one, too.

I hate Terrelle Pryor, not just because he ruined the integrity of our program, ...trust me, I've met him.

As my name indicates, I am also a Blue Jackets fan.

Looking forward to the season and the start of the Fickell era! Go Bucks!

Hello Buckeye Planet,
I have been lurking on this site for a long time, and find it to be the best! I am a Buckeye by birth, and would have it no other way! Living in that "State up North" for most of my life, the rivalry is great fun with the exception of your usual (Mark May)-holes. It is not unusual to find a "chalked-in" Block M in my driveway the morning of The Game. Most likely a response to my Buckeye Flag flying from the highest peak of my house! I work in the Automotive Design field for the last 28 years, and my job has taken me to many a different state, and without exception Thee Ohio State Buckeyes travel well. I hope to get to my first Buckeye Game this fall. Colorado I think. If anyone reading this could direct me to a thread that could help me with hotels, bars, tailgaiting would be appreciated!
Thanks,
MotorCityBuck

Greetings Fellow Buckeye Nation Citizens

I found this forum in a Bing search (top of the list, btw) and here I am.

I'm a Buckeye born and bred to hate "that team up north" and I'm a retired govt puke living in Ukraine with my red hot Hot Redhead. And no, Ukraine is not part of Russia.

Anyway as my title implies, I'm definitely having some serious Buckeye football withdrawals here. The web pass thing at The Fan/Dispatch didn't work out for some reason and I'm waiting to hear back from them about that. I can't use ESPNWatch as I'm not in the US. SO that leaves me with staring at the ESPN Game Tracker for 3 hours and into the wee hours as we're 7 hours ahead of "The Heart of it All".

We do however have LOTS of Buckeye trees here so I at least have a good collection of those.

Ok, that's it. I now return you to your regularly unscheduled ramblings.

Nope! I'm in the nice part. Crimea, the Riviera of the Former Soviet Union (FSU). The weather's nicer and the hotties are, well, hotter.

BTW, is the Ukraine part of Russia?

Drums finger tips on table thinking of snappy come back then the Hot Redhead ...

LOL
