Getting rid of Tara was the point of the season. Tara was never going to survive and it was always going to be Gemma that killed her. Was only a matter of when, which became obvious after Unser told Gemma that Tara made a deal. It's hilarious reading around the internet and seeing people (mostly women) say that they'll stop watching now because she's dead. All of it ultimately leads up to Jax finding out that Gemma killed his dad. Then everyone dies.

What bothered me is that Jax turns around and says "oh well, I'll just go to prison" after Patterson reneged on the initial deal. What the hell is that?

Well, since the cat's out of the bag, I'd say Juice lasts about 3 minutes into season 7 before he meets Mr. Mayhem.

I agree that Tara and Jax were never going to ride off into the sunset, but I wasn't sure she was gonna die. I do think you're right that after this, season 7 is gonna be Jax learning the truth, killing his mother, and giving up the club to raise his sons away from the violence.

Yeah that was fucking crazy..wish Jax would've called the police first to notify them because DA or whatever title the woman has assumes he killed the cop and Tara. It'll be crazy to see how he gets out of it if he even can. Is next season the last one? If so, I expect rivers of blood to be shed. That episode was the first one that I've gotten that into since Opie was killed off, it just hadn't felt the same to me without him.

The Mayans are about to get a beatdown similar to Season 2's finale (or Season 3, can't remember which)
