I liked the finale but I wish they would have
shown some of the aftermath following Jax's end. Show the club hearing about it and realizing he's actually gone, show Nero and Wendy, and the DA/Sheriff arriving at the scene, or better yet a "down the road" scene with the original clubhouse and shop being completed and where everyone is at 6 months later and end with Jax's gravestone next to Tara's.

My wife who is a huge fan was disappointed. The last 2 felt rushed like, crap we got 2, hour and half episodes left we gotta fit all this in.

Also the final scenes could have been so much better. I expected way better graphics for the finale, if your not going to do it right, then don't show it at all (that scene kinda killed it for me).

Last bitch the music wtf... a Punk Elvis cover of a love song during a car chase???? music killed the last few episodes, I know I'm partial to this group but fuck me I coulda found 3 or 4 Black Rebel Motorcycle Club songs that woulda worked better.
Well, it definitely wasn't perfect...nor was the show as a whole. But, I thought it was quite good. I definitely wasn't disappointed. I don't think it felt "rushed", either. Given the ending, and how the show HAD to conclude, it was going to be a fast and furious end. I thought it wrapped things up just how I'd want them to, and it had fittingly emotional scenes for characters that we've liked/loved for 7 seasons.

I did find the homeless woman/guardian angel kind of cringe inducing...especially the bread and wine imagery. A little over the top, Mr. Sutter.

I agree about the music. It's often been cringe-inducing throughout the series. At least we didn't have to listen to Katey Sagel warble in the finale.

All in all, I'd give it a B+ and the series as a whole the same grade.

I only watched a few episodes of season 6 and most of season 7 ... I might venture back and watch the entire series once its all on Netflix

Someone can correct me if i'm wrong but its the whole "Stepping into his fathers shoes"?
That's what I took from it.

However, he's doing things the way he wish his father had done...essentially removing all ties to the club from his sons. He wants them to know he was a bad man, and not somebody to emulate. By burning his writings, and his father's, he's keeping his sons out of that life as they should grow to despise it.
