Songs/Music style that you believe to suck or blow

mu·sic n. The art of arranging sounds in time so as to produce a continuous, unified, and evocative composition, as through melody, harmony, rhythm, and timbre.

Rappers do this.

Well, no harmony there, unless you consider using the same pitch throughout the song as harmony.

Unified? I'd like you to name one song by a classical composer that has a unified anything.

Well, the rapper would be the melody line... other concurrent sounds could indeed constitute harmony.

 The entire idea of musical form is to create unity.

Ted...I'm just going to say it...you're a fucking moron if you believe that. Turntables are stereo equipment!
Hmm.

I've been reading the threads in this topic. I for one Play and upright acoustic bass. I play some guitar, and I have a fiddle(which I'm learning how to play). I also have a autoharp(21 chord). Now, with that being said, I am a little bit offended that someone would categorize a TURNTABLE as an instrument! What kind of drugs are you on. I bet you couldn't go into any musical instrument store, and find a turntable. I'm surprised tedginn05 even knows what a turntable is used for. For that matter, you could probably find a used on in a garage sale. Give me a break!
How to use a turntable:
1. turn on the power switch
2. apply your favorite LP
3. check the speed (for correct sound)
4. Carefully place the needle on the LP.
5. Enjoy playing your musical instrument.
For anyone else wondering what kind of music I play, "Its Bluegrass".

Now. See what happens when you use that format on a stringed instrument or woodwind.

I play guitar, drums and dabbled in bass in high school. These are musical instruments. I own a phonograph. It is but one component of a rack stereo system.

There is a lot of hip hop that I like. Liking the sound and agreeing that it takes talent to make it are not the same.

:smash: When the fuck did it start being cool for elementary school kids to start singing about stuff they know nothing about? This bish is 10 years old and she's talking about swag? Song makes me want to grab her by her hair and "whip her back and forth".

Worst song I've ever heard. The chorus makes me want to kill.
