At practice today, I was swinging a mean fungo...smacked one over the fence and a kid climbed over to retrieve it. From the leftfield foul line, I hit another over the far right center fence and hit him square in the back.

The first day of Fall practice last year, I broke a freshman's rib trying to teach him how to form tackle. He was about 5-7 140 lbs...except when I tell the story at the bar, in which case he was 6-3 210 lbs. He hasn't come back to practice...

My wife met BJ Sanders' parents in an Elevator in 2002 when OSU played at Northwestern... I was already in the lobby.
She also met Vince Workman in the Green Bay Airport and ended up having a nice conversation and getting an autograph during the layover in Detroit. He had Packers/OSU stuff on so she assumed he was a player.

I had 23 tackles in a single high school game. I picked off a pass with one hand to win the game when I was a freshman.
I also repelled off of Mount Vesuvius with Sherpa's in a Peyote fueled adventure.

I blocked a punt in my first game I ever played, and stripped the ball from some RB, and returned it 40 yards to the opponents' 5 yard line in my last game (we didn't even score on that possession, and lost 45-0), but I had 2 fumble recoveries and some tackles. Yeah, our team was so bad that our personal stats mattered more than the game, itself.
