Some BCS facts for your SEC friends

This year, by luck of the draw, the Big Ten's bowl were basically away games, but that's more luck (or lack of) than anything else.

But that guy calling the Music City Bowl a home game for Kentucky is just plain wrong. Nobody in Tennessee gives 2 shits about Kentucky football. Hell, now that basketball season started, people in Kentucky don't even realize the 'Cats had a bowl game. Same with Bama at the Ind. Bowl. Those rednecks are pissed that they went back to a shitty bowl, so they didn't travel like you would expect, and the locals bought up the extra tickets to root AGAINST them.

Yeah, UGA had a huge one, but everyone's hands were basically tied on that. Even Bulldog fans were p!ssed that's who they had to play.

Nobody in Tennessee may give a shit about Kentucky football, but people in Kentucky give a shit about Kentucky football. When Kentucky boarders Tennessee and is a short drive to the game it makes a dramatic difference when 4/5 of the crowd are Kentucky fans. I think you are underestimating the crowd Kentucky brought with them. They set a Music City Bowl record in attendenance and about 4/5 of the crowd was white and blue. Not to mention the advantage in travel time for the team.

The south, in general, benefits tremendously during bowl season. The games are much closer geographically helping southern teams draw many more fans.

Ohio State should join the SEC so they can earn a little respect. You're just a few days away from being 0-9 against SEC teams in bowl games. You were pounded by Florida last year, and LSU is about to do the same. And if you think this is coming from a LSU fan, think again. I'm an AUBURN grad here to tell you that the Big Ten is a little wienie and the SEC is the best college conference in the nation!!!

i suggest you change your username to brainburn before grad finds you and comes up with something about licking testicles, or some such.

Here I thought Auburn was the team who routinely struggled with mediocre b10 squads. But don't let that get in the way of idiocy.

Hey Auburn dude, when you guys win a championship (SEC or National), then you can come in and talk smack. Until then, have yourself a warm cup of shut the f*#k up. Now, go back to your trailer park!

Please find me a single year where Big 10 teams have played more bowl games with a pseudo-home field advantage than SEC teams had. The simple geography of the bowls originating as tourist destinations has prevented that from happening.

I would love to see a meaningful bowl game played in Detroit, Minny, or Indy. Let the southern and west coast teams come up here and play some bowl games every once in a while.

Nobody wants to come up in here in the winter time. Hell most of us don't want to be here
