Watched a replay of the Bode Miller post-race interview Monday.

When another U.S. skier went to console him, I just realized that someone mentioned to that skier (might've been Ligety) to not block the shot of Miller (and his face). She gestured with her hand.

This manufacturing of stories has become a joke (NBC isn't any better than ESPN).

I saw that too! It was like "Don't step in front of the camera". I know Bode has defended the woman who did the interview...but I'm sorry, that was National Enquirer, Daily Tattler type crap there.

And any question of whether NBC was pumping the story for their TV spot is erased when you consider they had, what, 12 hours to edit it? Instead they ran the whole thing, including the guy shoving Ligety out of the way so he didn't block the camera. Congratulations NBC, you are now the ultimate bottom-feeders.

Yeah I don't give a shit what Bode's opinion is at this point. NBC acting like TMZ is a national embarrassment.

I remember when Tom Brokaw rode a bike with a hidden camera in a basket through Tiananmen Square. Now Bob Costas looks like someone skull fucked him without the goddamned courtesy of removing his eyes first and this chick hammers home the dead relative until the dude cracks.

You know a relative suggested to me on Monday that Jamaica should've crashed the sled on purpose on the third run and then carry the sled across the line like the movie (even though it's an auto DQ).

He told me it would've generated more buzz (and they were already 30th heading into Run 3).

Norway wearing my favorite pant design (paint spots) in the tiebreaker against Great Britain.

Very even match. Wish the Canadian commentator would stop talking as much and allow people to hear the curlers speak (specific commentator has not stopped talking entire Olympics).

Yet another Dutch sweep (1-2-3) in speedskating, this time in the men's 10,000m.

I like the commentator (Stuart Storey) with Olympic Broadcasting Services (the Live Stream provider) for speedskating (he's professional & entertaining). At the end of the event he just threw up his hands and said, "The Dutch aren't just winning the odd medal, they're winning all of them."

Even though it's the Dutch, so it's expected, 19 medals is still dominating.
