Pure speculation, but considering that the BOD made the call to replace TW, do you think they might water down the academic standards a little to help in recriuting for the new coach? If that was the case the choice for HM would be a little safer to make.

How about Paul Horning as HC? :)

I'd take John Gruden over anybody because I think he'd draw the most recruits, and that's what Norte Dame needs. Both him and Meyer can coach. There is a lot of hype around Meyer right now, but one bad season and all of that is down the drain. ND just needs to make sure they do a complete background check on this guy before they hire him.:lol:

If Urban gets the job, he may be able to bring in several of Holtz former coaches. I work with some of the Holtz era players, and they believe that Lou himself may be hired as a consultant / recruiting tool.

Whether or not he gets the position, Urban Meyer is still a knob.
