Well done, but I'm not sure how the "40 more conference championships" is in there - tOSU has 34 Big Ten titles plus 2 earlier ones, and Florida has 8 SEC crowns plus 3 East Division.

Another item is that the Gators have never had a perfect season.

More fuel would include:
Ohio State never was coached by a man that goes by Ron Zook, which in it of itself is quite an embarrassment.[censored] anyone that brings up the 07 illinois game

Are you just trying to be argumentative? Don't act like having your top receiver and #1 deep threat leave the game after 1 play doesn't matter. Whether Teddy was the #1 option every play or not his presence on the field was missed. I'm sure the other recievers would have appreciated the extra room that would have been available had Ginn's speed been on the field.

Still don't know that they would have brought home the trophy without the injury but acting like it had no impact on the game is foolish. Hell, look at how many more kick return opportunities he could have had. :2004:

I understand he was a huge part of the offense, i'm just looking at it objectively. Troy couldn't do anything in that game. Whether he had Ginn or Jerry Rice out there, it wouldn't have mattered. Certainly not to a 27 point swing. There is also the fact that Ginn wasn't playing defense. UF dropped 41 on you guys.

So much went wrong that day.......

That game (and the USC -Skunkbear game) showed that neither tOSU or M*ch*g*n were as good as everyone thought after The Game that year, which was indeed a classic of the series. Not saying either was a bad team, obviously, as they were not. Just that both had issues when going against UF and USC, who both had better athletes on the defensive line that year.

And as long as you were going to continue to cover our receivers by giving a five yard cushion and not rush Leak, we were going to win that sucker. IMHO.
