Or the minimum wage for tipped employees, which is significantly less than standard min wage. I handle payroll for a drive-in restaurant and the hourly rate is $3.35 for servers.

I do if I use a car hop, they only make the minumum wage for tipped emplyees wich is like 2.30 an hr so they rely on those tips, unless they themselves spill food or screw up some other way I always tip.
