Skybus Airlines - Columbus

Just drive up to Portsmouth NH and fly for cheaper out of there on Skybus.

That's what we did.

That's an hour drive from my house. If I can get a decently priced flight out of Logan, then I'd much prefer that (since I can just hop on the subway). Sometimes I could get a JetBlue flight for just a little over $100, which wasn't bad. Most of the time I fly AirTran to Akron, which is even cheaper than that.

Big deal, one hour to save an assload of money.

Plus you can pull right up in front of the terminal there since Skybus is the only airline that flies from there.

Logan is one of the most expensive airports to fly in and out of in the United States.

It's a little bit of extra money, but there appears to be a bus from Logan to Portsmouth if you don't want to deal with a car. It's $39 round trip, which can still be a better deal than flying to Logan. That's what we're going to do for the marathon in the spring - saved a couple hundred dollars.

I don't think anyone (outside of the company) would know. However, you can sign up for email notifications on their website. I did this and have gotten notifications when new dates were available.

Skybus - Subscribe to Skybus Emails

One can always hope that someone is in the know. I doubted anyone knew the exact date, but a general idea of when to keep an eye on it would be helpful. Do they usually release a month at a time or are they smaller/larger blocks? I signed up for the emails a while back, but this is the first time I actually need to book a flight that they run.

Either way ,if you miss it, someone will post an update here.
