SimPLLLLLLLe Jim "6-13" Harbaugh (B1G Suspenders McKhakiPants, Cheater Cheater Booger Eater)

Ahh, gotcha. I was born in 85, so I always grew up with “Dicky V” The famous announcer. But this totally fills in the gaps, ‘preciate it.
He also makes his money from a company that patented the "shit on Ohio State, and their fans will give you ratings for weeks" strategy.

Without retiring, doubt it. Closest I can think is Brown leaving the Buckeyes for WWII. But I think it's a year off. Need fact checked by @BB73
Bernie Bierman went from Minny’s 1941 Natty to coaching Iowa Pre-Flight in 1942 (they were ranked as high as #2).

Paul Brown won with tOSU in 1942, coached a depleted team in 1943, and went to Great Lakes Naval in 1944.

I know this isn’t news, but the mouse network is slobbering all over Harbaugh like he is one of the greatest of all time and nary a mention of the cheating scandals. It’s like the command has been given from on high to all the talking heads, and like good little soldiers they comply.

Major sports media has a number of analysts who were pitching that Hairball would dominate CFB when he went to scUM, and now they can puff their chests out. They control the media, and hence control the narrative, but the funny thing is, they can't hide when the sanctions come out. But they won't harm Hairball, he will leave scott-free unfortunately.

And the fact that Hairball was hired before Belichek(he's not as desired as many seem to think) and Vrabel shows how desired he was to the NFL. Raheem Morris is set to be hired before both of those names too btw... Regardless of his past NFL hire losses, his name was easily one of the hottest names.

Counterpoint. The Chargers are $45 million over the cap and have $25 million in dead money on the books already for next year.

In 2025, 27 players are set to become free agents, yet they are still spending $145 million on what remains.

Only a desperate coach was going to walk into to that dumpster fire.

Was that a case where they enlisted during the war and were assigned those roles? Certainly not the same as Simple Jim running to the NFL before the ncaa hammer hits. Osborne retired, and Schnellenberger left for the NFL. The latter is the one similar to Simple Jim, but I don't think he was running from ncaa sanctions.

Yeah, NFL is not suspending Harbaugh. I'm sure Spanos' people have had conversations with the league about that as a precursor to giving the rehtard the job. Besides, Harbaugh is going to generate dollars and eyeballs, and the next time the NFL walks away from that will be the first time.

They are getting all hyped because Harbaugh told them that there would be a Chargers to Michigan connection/pipeline

I can only assume the guy who left them high and dry after promising a bunch that "he'd never try to leave again" is talking out of his ass and could care less about Michigan. Wouldn't pick up the phone if they called.

Jim Harbaugh’s coaching staff was mid as fuck until his brother did him a solid and gifted him several coordinators in a row.

I doubt John will continue gifting Jim coordinators, so the Chargers to UM pipeline will be shit anyway, if it even gets off the ground, which does seem unlikely.
