He has been everything I hoped. The right coach. The right time. A Michigan Man. Lifetime contract earned!

Here are all of the losses of the Harbaugh Era. "Average Loss" is the combined Margin of Loss divided by total losses:
Through his first three seasons, Harbaugh's average margin of loss was 10.0 points per game; take out the two blowout losses to Ohio State and Penn State, and it drops to 5.8 points per game.
Year Opponent Score of Game Margin of Loss Average Loss 2015 Utah 17 - 24 -7 -7.0 2015 Michigan State 23 - 27 -4 -5.5 2015 Ohio State 13 - 42 -29 -13.3 2016 Iowa 13 - 14 -1 -10.3 2016 Ohio State 27 - 30 -3 -8.8 2016 Florida State 32 - 33 -1 -7.5 2017 Michigan State 10 - 14 -4 -7.0 2017 Penn State 13 - 42 -29 -9.8 2017 Wisconsin 10 - 24 -14 -10.2 2017 Ohio State 20 - 31 -11 -10.3 2017 South Carolina 19 - 26 -7 -10.0 2018 Notre Dame 17 - 24 -7 -9.8 2018 Ohio State 39 - 62 -23 -10.8 2018 Florida 15 - 41 -26 -11.9 2019 Wisconsin 14 - 35 -21 -12.5 2019 Penn State 21 - 28 -7 -12.2 2019 Ohio State 27 - 56 -29 -13.1 2019 Alabama 16 - 35 -19 -13.4
In his last two seasons, Harbaugh's average margin of loss was 18.9 points, with five of the seven losses being by 19+ points.
Notice how the Average Loss has steadily ballooned from its valley of 7.0 points per game after the 2017 Michigan State loss to the current peak of 13.4 points per game. So if you thought Harbaugh was trending in the wrong direction, you were correct.

Do we have an odds on favorite on who'll get busted with a tranny on their Brazil trip. My money's definitely on Dudeck in the coaching division, but I don't see a clear Sugar Shane or Trailer Park Fabio type sure shot in the player division.
Truth is often stranger than fiction. Can anyone on this forum have imagined or written a script that would have been half as good as what has unraveled the past five years with Jimmah? I mean, he is the gift that just keeps on giving. Never in my wildest dreams would I have thought he was going to be the joke he is or continues to be. He just keeps on keeping on. It is awesome.
I don’t see Cleveland even saving him now. I think he’s begun to slide into having to be a coordinator somewhere next. Especially if OSU blows him out again. ScUM won’t ever think of firing him, as they have few other quality options in the _ichgan man territory. He would have to leave and maybe be have to restartI thought the wheels would fall off -- especially recruiting and retention -- if he couldn't get over the hump in the first 3 years. That's been his timeline everywhere he's gone... and we all saw the media hype he had coming in, got him a couple highly rated classes (media propaganda is effective).
He came close in 2016... Beck and Warinner tried really hard to hand it to him. And then it was all over... everything from then was and is going to be a continued slide into Rutgers territory.
They think he's the "safe" hire because he beats the teams he's favored against... but his recruiting and personality ensure that list shrinks every year.
I did expect him to steal a game off of us, effectively drawing the slide out more than he has. So I'm happy to be wrong on that front.
I also expected the NFL would come to his rescue... but they haven't. And I doubt they will, short of maybe Cleveland.
Who wants to hire a guy who can't even coach College kids well? Whose alienated himself with previous ownership? Who is clearly stuck in the past in a moment when NFL is catching on that you don't need to copy Tom Brady to win games...
