Jim Harbaugh Spends Day Testing Every Single Seat View In Michigan Stadium

ANN ARBOR, MI—Noting that the 51-year-old coach was slowly making his way across the vacant stands section by section, sources at the University of Michigan confirmed Thursday that Jim Harbaugh spent the entire day testing the view from every seat in the team’s stadium. “You can barely even see the other end zone from here—pathetic!” Harbaugh screamed to the empty arena while throwing his hands up in frustration, having reportedly arrived alone in the early morning to personally evaluate the vantage point from each of Michigan Stadium’s 110,000 seats. “Aw, c’mon, what the hell is this? You know what, can you explain to me how this whole section is this bad? Please? Bull[Mark May]—this is absolute fucking grade-A bull[Mark May].” At press time, Harbaugh had sent Michigan’s athletic department an envelope containing a heavily annotated seating chart, a list of the 63,000 seat views he had found unsatisfactory, and a glowing 70-page report on section 25, row 12, seat 9, which he claimed is “exactly what the great sport of football is all about.”
Thought it was true until I saw the link. Very believable.

Is he aware what generally happens to bulls at a bull fight?

Led around in circles by the masterful manipulation of their aggression, toyed with until they're exhausted, finally put out of their misery, and then the spectators celebrate their downfall by eating what remains?

Replace eating steak with drinking tears and it's really not too far off...
That said I don't think it'd actually be a massive meltown if not for the absurd expectations being hyped from within (they're so stupid they don't even need ESPN's help)

Big Ten football meetings: Harbaugh says Woody 'one of the greatest who ever coached the game'

Being the new coach at Michigan doesn't prohibit Jim Harbaugh from expressing respect for Ohio State and its own stellar tradition in college football.

What does Harbaugh think of Ohio State coaching legend Woody Hayes?

“Abiding respect and admiration - he's one of the greatest coaches who ever coached the game,” Harbaugh said. “I'm well-read on Coach Hayes, but also I had the advantage of hearing a lot of stories growing up about Woody Hayes from my dad, from other coaches who were friends of my dad, who coached at Michigan with Bo Schembechler.

“I'd ask people, 'Did you ever associate with Woody Hayes?' I asked them to tell me about Woody Hayes and what their relationship was like with him. I view him as one of the all-time greats.”

Jim Harbaugh plans to be Michigan 'lifer'

Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh was the focus of Friday's morning session at Big Ten media days in Chicago. Harbaugh spoke at the podium for 15 minutes, but he also did some on-site radio and TV spots.

During an interview with Sirius XM radio, Harbaugh was asked a question that's been on many people's minds: "Are you a 'lifer' at Michigan?"

"God willing and the creek don't rise, that's the way it's going to be," Harbaugh said.

Of course Moeller, Carr, Rodriquez, and Hoke probably said the same thing.

I wouldn't be surprised if he wanted to retire at ttun. But how many 8-5 and 9-4 seasons will they put up with. Will a 1-9 record against their two rivals over 5 years be ok?

From same article. This is no way to talk about a multi-time recipient of B1G coach of the year:

If Harbaugh is planning on being a Michigan "lifer," what other coaches could possibly join him in reaching that status at their current schools?

Kirk Ferentz (Iowa, 1999-present)

OK, so he technically fits the criteria because he somehow keeps getting contract extensions, but I don't think he's the beloved figure at his school that you usually associate with a "lifer." There's a certain level of success I think you need to have, or at least be a fan favorite and I don't feel like he's there.

It's funny when people take these kind of quotes seriously. What's he going to say, "You know what, I really doubt it. I'm planning on being here for 2-3 years max."

He used to say the same lifer type things when he started coaching the 49ers too.
