I paid way more than I wanted to 2 years ago for the ability to rush the field, only to find out it was stolen from me through cheating. It's gonna be hard to resist opening that wallet again.

TE: Colston Loveland, Michigan
The 6-foot-5 Loveland bulked up to 245 pounds and emerged as a staple in the Wolverines' offense on their way to the national championship. He finished third on the team with 45 catches, averaging 14.4 yards per catch, and hauled in four touchdown receptions while earning first-team All-Big Ten honors. DT: Mason Graham, Michigan
Graham was an integral piece of a Michigan defense that was the backbone of the Wolverines' national championship team. He returns as one of the top interior defensive linemen in college football after earning first-team All-Big Ten honors. The 6-3, 318-pound Graham played with a broken thumb through much of last season and was at his best in the postseason.

CB: Will Johnson, Michigan
In 2023, Johnson went from being one of the best freshmen in the country to one of the best cornerbacks in the country. He's poised to be even better next season after earning consensus first-team All-Big Ten honors. Johnson (6-2, 202) has great size for a cornerback and didn't give up any touchdowns in 321 coverage snaps. He was the defensive MVP in the national championship game.

Graham and Grant are the only players I’d want that I think the Buckeyes have a chance with. Johnson ain’t going anywhere. Loveland would Be great but I also don’t see him leaving as he can raise his draft stock on a crappy team. Kind of like what most of the Iowa TEs have done over the years.

Yes. Would take the two DT, but don’t expect either will leave.

They do have 3 OT in '24 recruiting class (incl 2 from OH, whom we didnt offer), as well as a DL from OH Ted Hammond, and A DT from PA PalePale that we did offer, who is only a 3* but nice offer list.

I don’t things are as happy and hunky dory as they are claiming right now.There is going to be butthurt and hurt feelings over this, no matter what anyone is claiming.

These guys won a championship this same calendar month and nothing good has come from it since. It’s largely forgotten.

Once it becomes even more in the distance and they feel the roster impact and game impacts next year. And realize Jim has moved on and does not care about them, I don’t think it will be as rosy.

I just wish this had all gone down without a title (damn us and damn Bama). As a sports fan, the title is worth it. But at least now the aftermath is part of the story.

Has anyone in the press or media pointed out how incredibly unusual it is for a coach to win a natty then bolt asap? Who would do that if they weren't running away to avoid facing the music? I mean this dude was probable texting GMs at halftime of the title game. The fucking cone of silence that has enveloped this massive, massive cheating scandal is surreal.

Without retiring, doubt it. Closest I can think is Brown leaving the Buckeyes for WWII. But I think it's a year off. Need fact checked by @BB73
