The Bucks got hit with the same rule a few years back. NCAA rule says you can’t take a kid off campus for a meal in certain situations. Ticky tacky rule.

Wasn’t that Randy Ayers taking Damon Flint to Champps? A bit more than a “few” years ago, though……almost 30 years now. :lol:

I also think that after the dinner was over a coach sent Flint off with a gym bag full of swag. The juggalo coaches got wind of it and ratted us out.

I believe in Simple Jim's case this came during the no face time COVID restriction, which would amp it up a bit. Regardless of what you think of that rule, other coaches were abiding by it.
