It's funny how we joked at TTUN and their "country club" atmosphere. Hairball seems to have addressed that.
What's kind of shameful is now that phrase is hanging like a dark cloud over Ryan Day's tenure.

Well, the good news is that the hire that called out the Country Club atmosphere upon arrival, Biff Poggi, is headed to UNC-Charlotte as head coach. So the single guy that was responsible for that Tressel/Meyer mentality the past two seasons is out the door.

Bruce Feldman has wrote extensively on his influence as Harbaughs consigliere the past 18 months on the Athletic, but that’s all premium so I’m not going bother linking it.

Suddenly for whatever odd reason, a bunch of Birdman parallels are flooding my brain...

"A thing is a thing, not what is said of that thing"

Or, "It's important to me! Alright? Maybe not to you, or your cynical friends whose only ambition is to go viral. But to me... To me... this is God. This is my career, this is my chance to do some work that actually means something."

Even the tagline for the movie... "The unexpected virtue of ignorance"

EDIT: no offense to any michael keaton / riggan thomson devotees on here.

How appropriately ironic... a guy named Biff taking a wrecking ball to a country club atmosphere.
