Not sure which is more hilarious:

Harbaugh waiting till February to come back to TTUN, leading to disarray well into winter workouts, getting beat 70-0 by OSU and finishing 6-7 with a loss to Hawaii in the Hotdog Water Bowl. Everyone finally admits that the only reason they were worth a damn in '21 was due to a DC on loan from his brother and 2 flash-in-the-pan DEs. TTUN signs Harbaugh to a 20 year contract.

OR

Harbaugh waiting till February to commit to anything, leading to disarray well into winter workouts, then leaving and forcing TTUN to hire the ball boy while acting like they're starting a new dynasty. Harbaugh has a decent season at Miami, then gets fired for trying to sleep over at Tua's house and doing shirtless calisthenics to motivate the team at halftime. TTUN signs Harbaugh to a 20 year contract.

This is setting up beautifully.

Last year, tsun is basically praying an NFL team will hire him. There's no interest, so they chop his contract in half and shove his balls in a desk drawer somewhere in Sche_bechler Hall. His baby brother loans him a DC for a year and he finally, in year 7, has a season approaching what they thought they would be every year. A couple of NFL teams, run by absolute morons, decide maybe he is worth looking at and he openly flirts back with them.

One of two extremely desirable outcomes will happen -

1) He bolts for the NFL after leading them to their best season in almost a quarter century and leaves them scrambling to conduct a coaching search in February.
2) He comes back, goes to work patching together a team with a looming QB controversy, having to replace the DC that turned their horrific defense around, dealing with the loss of the 2 DEs that made that defense go and rebuilding much of their OL. Regardless of next season's outcome, "Harbaugh to the NFL" will now be an annual dance.

I'm fine with either of them. 2021 was a lightning in a bottle season, the ttun of 2015-20 will return next season and order shall be restored.

Pretty much the same situation last year. He doesn't really want to be there, and the administration doesn't really want him there. But until one side or the other has a more attractive alternative to turn to, he'll stay and they'll let him.
