We all know Hairball is a good coach, but so is Hoke. So my question of the day is...just why did Hoke fail in Scumland? I think it boils down to what he inherited in players and who he was able to recruit on his own.

Hoke's record by year:

2011: 11-2 (Sugar Bowl win)
2012: 8-5 (Outback Bowl loss)
2013: 7-6 (Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl loss)
2014: 5-7 (no bowl game)

So Hoke's record got worse as more of his players entered the program and more of Rich Rod's left.
