But he did not list All-Time Win%, which they lost yesterday. He also did not list Bowl Game Appearances, or Bowl Game Win%, or Consensus All-Americans, which Ohio State had surpassed them in the years since Rich Rod cratered their program. Of course, another thing about the game back when they were scoring a point a minute was that the real power in college football was with the eastern teams. I stumbled across a site... actually... I think it was posted here earlier this year for a different reason (corrected rankings)... anyway, the author of that site makes a very compelling case that the eastern powers would have wiped the floor with those early scUM teams.
