Speight was a 2014 class recruit who early-enrolled this time last year. Only ESPN has him as a 4*...247, Rivals, and Scout have him as a 3*.

Malzone is already on campus as an EE. I'm not really a fan of true freshman leading the offense, but this kid seems to have his backers. Personally, from what I've seen, Speight always had the "it" factor over Shane. But we'll see.


as for the coaching staff. Lot's of rumors swirling, but like the Harbaugh search, they change by the hour. Now it looks like no Marrow or the S&C from Stanford.

So, basically, steak knives are in a category with not getting sprinkles on your ice cream cone.

when your entire QB roster is as pathetic as Michigan's.....the next guy up that hasn't proven to be complete garbage is always going to have his backers.

What, exactly, has Jim Harbaugh done for Michigan? I mean.. since he got hired. I'm a little bit annoyed with all of the "Michigan is back" talk I seem to be hearing. The junk I have to listen to now that Bill King is off Sirius said this morning something about how the Big Ten is really good because of Ohio State and Michigan State and now Michigan is back. He hasn't won a single game, yet. Until they can compete for a Big Ten East title, I won't consider them "back". And by "compete", they better not be mathematically eliminated until the 7th conference game has been completed, at least.

Just enjoy that the SEC talk has stopped for a few days and wait for them to fall on their faces next year.
