So this article was posted 11 days ago which correctly predicted Harbaugh would be named the coach of Michigan on the 30th from 2 independent sources. His father and agent had been in contact with the athletic department since early November saying he wanted to come back to Michigan (pizza boy was fired late October). It seems Harbaugh and the new president Marathe hated each other for years. Harbaugh gets pissed because he liked the previous president who was let go in January. Marathe gets promoted to president and that was probably the last straw for Harbaugh. If it wasn't for that, then Harbaugh would more than likely still be in San Fransisco. When the the big dogs clash, the bigger dog (owner and president) will always stay. If this all true, then it makes sense on why Michigan went all in for Harbaugh. Of course they gauge the interest of the other coaches in case there is the slim chance Harbaugh doesn't come, but knew from the get go that Harbaugh was coming back. It looks like there is a chance Andy Moeller will be our o-line coach based on the text messsage. He just needs to stay sober.

I think Harbaugh knows the NFL will always be there. He has choices. He can stay at Michigan for 5 or 6 years and jump back to the NFL. Maybe he likes the control he has at Michigan and decides to stay for 15 years. He is in a very good position and he is back with his family in the midwest. I'm just glad we finally have a solid coach. I don't want to imagine if Hoke had an 8-4 year, pizza boy is still our AD, etc. A lot of things had to go our way to make this happen.

Also ESPN......great job reporting that it was highly unlikely he would be returning to Michigan. Great job guys, I mean really great job.

Jesus. I got to the part where former players were begging him to coach Michigan and it was too much. Be more pathetic, Michigan. Just try.....see if it's even possible.
