SimPLLLLLLLe Jim "6-13" Harbaugh (B1G Suspenders McKhakiPants, Cheater Cheater Booger Eater)

They are certainly paying a premium based on the results. I still think he is ultimately a considerable improvement over Fred Flintstone, but I have my doubts about him being able to climb the mountain. Meanwhile I suspect that @NFBuck is right that Jimmy’s act will ultimately wear thin with players and the results will fade further and also that Jimmy will get anxious again and move on. His track record says as much so we will see if he goes beyond year #5.
The difference between fat garbage man and The Harbro is, more or less, trajectory. By year three it was clear Flintstone wasn't going to clap his way to glory, whereas, rain man is dealing with Fred's shitty last class, and his own shitty first class - all the while being... probably 8-4. All that said, the rain man is being shown out to be nothing more than a "jump in a pool with your clothes on" side show whilst Urban, and.. hell, even the boat rowing ass hat, are putting rubber to the road. Take away rainman's nonsense... and... you've got fat garbage man. At least, that's what I see

I could be wrong, but I suspect that Jimmy is a better all-around coach. But in this case and likely won’t matter because he hasn’t brought in the talent, especially at QB, to make a serious run be HE runs.

I mean, yeah, he's a better all around coach....it sounds good... it seems true....

Oh he can climb your mountain, mister Buckeye. He can climb it bare chested while chugging whole milk and hold a marshmallow roast on top of it with top recruits and then star in a rap video about the whole magnificent event. What he can't do is win a championship........or major in History.

He gets to rotate out players every 4 years in college. Just before his Asperger's wears too thin. That's one of the main reasons I don't see him leaving college.

Now the fact he was run out of town on a rail by his NFL front office and owners does not bode well for his long term relationship with donors, boosters and faculty at tsun. Let's remember, the attention whore act isn't really an act. That is who he is and that shit will wear thin on everybody eventually. As we saw in SF, I don't know that he can win enough to overcome it and that is if he was, you know, winning.

As far as the NFL goes, I don't think he's all that hot of a commodity personally. The easy thing to say is "an NFL team gets desperate, they'll spend the money". Well, SF kicked his goofy ass out the door and no one else backed up the Brinks truck to keep him then, what has he done since at tsun to wet any NFL GM appetites?

I think he is their Cooper (long tenure, limited hardware, rivalry & big game failure) with the failed savior twist.

That’s the beauty of Harbaugh to Indianapolis. The owner has been around since Harbaugh played there, making it possible he actually likes Harbaugh and thinks he can deal with him.

Wait, wait, wait...just this spring, mgoblog reported that Brandon Peters was the second coming of Andrew Luck. Now he can't play over Wilton Speight and John O'Korn. So, year three and the "QB whisperer" still doesn't have a QB? Are you telling me they're paying him $9M a year to do what? Act goofy, appear in rap videos, and dive into pools with his clothes on?

Who's got it better than them?
