SimPLLLLLLLe Jim "6-13" Harbaugh (B1G Suspenders McKhakiPants, Cheater Cheater Booger Eater)

Good. Good. Let the confidence in the magic of Harbaugh flow from you. Let your willingness to try hard for that psychotic asshole dwindle to nothing.

Urban Meyer inherited a really good roster and knows how to get the best out of college age guys as proven by his track record

Jim Harbaugh took over a decently talented roster, and lost to Utah in their first game. Also, lucked into Luck and took off to the NFL before his college coaching was exposed as being lacking.

Jimmah is not Urban.

Let's be real, Urb took over a juggernaut that was poorly coached the year before. Walking into 10 years of Tressel recruiting is a bit different.
Michigan 2012 recruiting class: #4 Scout, #7 Rivals
Michigan 2013 recruiting class: #2 Scout, #5 Rivals

Not a bad base of talent for Jim-Bo to work with. Unless, of course, all those recruits were overrated to begin with.

I think we've established that rankings don't mean much if you don't know how to coach. Give me a decade of Tressel recruits over 2 years of Hoke trying to teach stuff any day.

There's still some hope out there with JH in season one. 7 wins max. That's all I got to say about it. Walking away before the Wild Turkey takes over.

The 2012 Buckeyes did not have 12-0 talent. Guiton against Purdue? Boren moving to LB? That would not have happened under Tressel, and I think the world of Jim Tressel as a coach.

To counter this point, Michigan's classes for 2014 and 2015 are #31/#50 on Rivals and #27/#35 on Scout. He's doing so-so at best so far for the 2016 class, so if he doesn't improve his recruiting and pull in a top-10 class this year he's going to be really hurting for talent over the next few years...

And a recent anonymous poll of current CFB players ranked him second amongst coaches players would least like to play for.

This isn't Harbaugh turning around Stanford part deux. He's played his trick, kids know he's a wacko, he's openly mocked just as much as he's revered as some sort of coaching savant, and other coaches do not like him and will both negatively recruit against him and not "talk shop" with him at clinics and summer brain dumps.

I'll give him credit... That Michigan team that played tonight looked a lot tougher and more physical than any Hoke team the past two years. Unfortunately, they're still not talented.

Recruiting ranks predict this team is going to become even less talented in the future because kids are fucking terrified of Harbaugh and his crayon eating (alleged) kid.
