As expected...no news out of Jeannette. That's quite a wrench thrown into ttun's gears with McGuffie reconsidering. I thought he was solid.

Losing Perry not the worst thing that could have happened. RR makes up for it by snagging Barnum away from Florida.akronbuck;1085277; said:I think chi chi rodriguez might be working at Taco bell next year
Perry is a HUGE position of need, not to mention stopping the USC leak. Perry is also a better prospect than Barnum.HailToMichigan;1085310; said:Losing Perry not the worst thing that could have happened. RR makes up for it by snagging Barnum away from Florida.

For this particular class, yes, there being nobody listed strictly as a DE. But Jamison and Graham return and will anchor the ends nicely. When it comes to need on the team vs. the class, OL is biggest and we need to hoard as many as possible.jwinslow;1085313; said:Perry is a HUGE position of need.....
aTm has been the elephant in the room for awhile... downplayed as visiting with friends and appeasing mom (who wanted him at aTm, IIRC).shetuck;1085320; said:is McGuffie looking at aTm possibly? did aTm lose anybody last minute other than Kapron Lewis-Moore?

Where is the depth moving forward at DE?For this particular class, yes, there being nobody listed strictly as a DE. But Jamison and Graham return and will anchor the ends nicely. When it comes to need on the team vs. the class, OL is biggest and we need to hoard as many as possible.
Barnum plays inside. At OT we do have Dann O'Neill coming in, which depending on what source you prefer may actually be the best recruit in the class. Still, at OG I'm not real sold on the projected two-deep of Ortman, Zirbel, McAvoy, and Moosman. About the only part of the line I feel comfortable with is Justin Boren at C, so when it comes to recruiting, if they have "OL" next to their name and can fog a mirror, it's a plus for U-M.jwinslow;1085335; said:Where is the depth moving forward at DE?
Does Barnum play OT, where UM is razor thin? I haven't watched any film, I thought he was an interior guy (where UM has more guys). If UM can land/develop a premiere OT or two, I think they'd be all set inside (where Schilling belongs, imo).
