Shelton Gibson (Declaring for 2017 NFL Draft)

Interesting....I know Wade said that it doesn't apply to all recruits, but Gibson can't be a "plan B" type of player or maybe he just can't make it on the 7th?

Might be so they have a better idea of his grades...I have always got the impression that if the grades are in order he is a Buckeye. If you think about it, we are by far on top and yet he hasn't committed and is basically only visiting OSU...there is a holdup somewhere and talent isn't it.

He might be the exception. If he gets it done in the classroom, I don't see him signing anywhere other than OSU.

ESPN$ - WR Shelton Gibson shuffles top group

Anyone with premium care to summarize for us? Interested in whether or not the word "shuffles" means what it sounds like...thanks.

Kind of a misleading title. Ohio State still leads, but after a great trip to West Virginia and a constructive in-home visit by that school, West Virginia is now firmly in front of Louisville, NC State, and Oregon.

Same league as Shaker Heights, decent comp, but not the best in NE Ohio.
Oddly, he didn't even make all state special mention.

Shaker Heights is not in the Lake Erie League anymore. The LEL is comprised of C. Heights, Warren G. Harding, Bedford, Lorain, Euclid, Maple Heights, and Warrensville Heights. No, not the best in NE Ohio, but pretty solid.

That said, Gibson is legit. Nice size, fast as lightning, & very dangerous with the ball in his hand. He'd be a nice asset as a Buckeye.
