I think kids expect to be able interact with their friends and other teenagers through social media and for adults to act like adults.

While I agree that kids shouldn't be harassed by adults, they ask for it when they openly solicit followers from fans of any team recruiting them. They are toying with overly emotional fans. Some ask for it, but there are those who don't.

Loved how he responded to the Twitter shenanigans with the highest of class and humility.

They can interact with their friends and other teenagers through social media. It's called creating a private account. Lots do it.

A private account doesn't stop people who do not follow you from showing up in your mentions if they put your username in the tweet.

In the Big 12, West Virginia is losing one of its top wideouts with Shelton Gibson announcing his decision to leave school. Gibson has been a consistent big play threat for the Mountaineers, averaging 22.6 yards per reception over three seasons at WVU.
