Rivals $ - Whispers: Floyd, Prater make changes

By Farrell...OSU has not offered in writing (Wade: verbally?)...South Carolina, Rutgers and OSU are firmly in the mix with Boston College and UNC also pursuing (and PSU may not be the favorite everyone assumes they are).

That's a wild, wild list of schools.

Strange that the staff hasn't show that much attention towards him (or the other player in the article, Prater). Seems like he'd be a definite offer, assuming the interest is legit (Buckeye coaches don't normally offer until your step foot on campus once?). Plus he has to like the depth chart after this season.

By M Alkire. And unnamed source claims Penn State dropped on Floyd's list after the Florida's coaches brought up the legal troubles at PSU. The Gators now lead.

No mention of Ohio State
Hypocrites...

Florida's negative recruiting has actually hurt them on a couple of occasions, but all it takes is one. Too bad it may have been a kid we have a shot at.

I think that Penn State being dropped off the list is HUGE for us. Florida is a relative newcomer; he is not as familiar with them as he was Penn State. It will be easier to convince him away from a team he's not familiar with than from a team in our backyard.

I can't imagine caring enough about the brain to place a value on it under those circumstances.

If we are one of 5 schools on this kids visit list it is hard to believe - written offer or no - that it has not been made perfectly clear he would be welcome in Columbus, Ohio.
