SG Walter Offutt (Asst. BBall Coach Toledo Rockets)

First time I got to see him play and I was extremely impressed. 27 pts on 12-20 shooting, plus 3 nice assists in a gutsy performance, to get his team an OT win. He really rose to the occasion in this big game.

Offutt showed a lot more than I even expected. He played tough on both ends of the court. He hit many big shots when his team needed it and was a really good teammate, with his encouragement and leadership, it was really cool to see. He's got a lot of good skills, not one of them stood out, he can drive, he can pass, he can defend, and he can shoot. He'll come in and be a very solid contributor to the Bucks. Just a very sound player, nothing stands out (although he makes some very nice plays), but he works hard and gets it done.

I love the idea that we are going to bring in two guys like Offut and Crater, both being able to play the point and one being able to be a combo 1-2 guard, much like we have this year with Conley and Butler.

As for Offut he is sure coming into his own and recovering nicely from that knee injury.
