SG Jon Diebler (2nd-Most Big Ten career 3-Pointers, Butler Recruiting Director)

Wonder what Burson's point total would have been with a 3 point line?

Let's put speculation about Burson in some other meaningless forum.:wink2:

A guy remarks that Diebler puts up 40 in a game, and that's not worthy of his own thread? Give me a break...

We read these threads for enjoyment, not for anal retentive lessons. Keep that in mind, Junkie. I don't even care about Upper Sandusky but for Diebler's achievements.

Is there anybody from the Sandusky area who's a big stat junky that could keep a nice little running total of Jon's stats for the season including things such as...pts, rebs, asts, blks, stls, fg%, 3p%? If so, that would be awesome. This kid is a stat machine and I would just love to watch the numbers on him.

Someone might have their hand fall off trying to keep up with the stats.:tongue2:

St. X is traditionally known for very good defense. I've talked to a few of X's players, and they said that this kid just doesn't miss from anywhere on the floor, regardless of how much pressure is applied to him. Also, X players said they'd rather guard OJ Mayo than Jon, FWIW. Sounds like we're getting a real good one.

Now that is some high praise. My guess is that Diebler is constantly moving and working to get off a shot, while that is not Mayo's game. IMO one on one Mayo is tougher to defend, but with a player like Diebler you have to be right up on him from anywhere on the court or he will hit the jumper on you...
