SF Alonzo Gaffney (transfer to NW Florida, transfer to Arizona St.)

listening to jardy's podcast from last week shortly after the cancellation. stated that "the writing is on the wall" regarding gaffney's status. in deference to gaffney, i thought about posting this in the rumor mill even though jardy's podcast is public. however, between gaffney's peculiar disappearance down the stretch, ho1t's vague statements, and towns' impending commitment, i don't think a hidden discussion is needed. my guess is we get word very soon from alonzo.

And the speculation before the season that he viewed himself as a one and done

Heck, it seems like everyone sees themselves as one and onto the NBA. Thought Muhammad had that rep, now he's an unfinished product (in my eyes). When Gaffney got into the game, he didn't appear to 'get it' (the offense) and what the rotation was supposed to be. Don't remember many defensive 'eye-openers' either. Good looking guy, long, lean, and long arms. Maybe in the right environment he'd be a player. I did think at the beginning of the season, however, that he'd be Kaleb's replacement off the bench, given his height. Hope he stays, but maybe Holtmann's doghouse is too tough to crawl out of.
