scUM T-Shirt Ideas

Just don't wear something relevant to the ASU loss. We're Ohio State. We don't need to make fun of them for losing to Appalachian State. We can make fun of them in Ohio State ways.

Though, if you wish, make sure to include something along the lines of how Ohio State is superior to Michigan. Something like:

"Hey Michigan faithful, when you schedule a patsy, you are supposed to win. Take note: We scheduled you today."

...would be good.

"Jim Tressel: 1-0 against Division 1-AA teams at Ohio State.
Lloyd Carr: Well, you guys probably already know..."

If you have to include App. State, be sure to include something on how that makes Ohio State superior to Michigan. If you don't, then you are no better than all the other teams in the Big Ten that bought Appalachian State t-shirts.

What I implied was that we don't need to make fun of Michigan for Applachian State, because we are tOSU. However, then I said that, if you must, be sure to use something that involves Ohio State in the conversation. Such, as, something about how we don't lose to 1-AA teams. And, how you schedule patsy teams so you can win, not lose (AKA, how we scheduled Michigan).

I recall a tee I saw at an Indiana game a few years back. "Ohio State Sucks" was printed on the front in red and on the back, in black, was "But Purdue Swallows"

That works out well with Michigan on the front and Notre Dame on the back.

then why not just roll the two into one and point both ends at scUM:

I'm looking for something that will:

1. Cut to the bone and hurt
2. I do not want to be killed
3. I want it to be funny
4. I do not want a classless shirt, I would define classless loosely for a scUM game but follow rule #2 above and keep in mind a "Fuck Michigan" shirt is IMO classless.

No offense; but if you really want to be classy, just wear a regular Ohio State jersey. It will meet numbers 1, 2, and 4.

Preferably a #9 Jersey with J. UTAH on the back. This will work also.

Right, right.. but since the whole point of the thread to begin with was to go outside the box insult wise while remaining somewhat classy the App St won't work.. I don't want to be telling the same joke they've heard from every single team this year.

How about just having the Number of Days since they beat Ohio State and include Nov.17th into the count. Truth and Confidence on the back or front.

If that does not work then just a simple picture of little Animal holding Hart's head in his hand.

I was thinking the same thing, with Henne & Long bookending it..

The only problem I can forsee, the weather. It would be better to put it on a sweatshirt, but after the bottle I should be nice and toasty so it may be doable on a t-shirt still..

I don't think you understand what I am trying to say. All of the lower class Big 10 schools, like Michigan State and Purdue, have been chanting "Appalachian State" and buying t-shirts and such, when their teams are playing Michigan. You know, just like how a bunch of fans keep on taunting us with the Gator Chomp.

Taunting with another teams glory is a joke. We are Ohio State. Over the last 6 years, we have done more than our own share to Michigan. Teams like Michigan State and Purdue, who don't do well, have to bring up Appalachian State.

What I'm saying is that if you are going to put something relevant to Appalachian State on a t-shirt, make it involve Ohio State in some way.

My personal favorite is BuckeyeNation27's idea. Why? It strikes more of a blow than just some normal App. State reference t-shirt.

Aside from that, well, I'm all for bringing up Appalachian State as a joke. I've personally thought of writing a poem. But, when it comes to Ohio State - Michigan, we have plenty of our own ammunition to strike those guys from up north with.
