I thought that Boren was in the 2006 class, did not redshirt, used two years of eligibility at Michigan. How does it work? Is 2008 a wasted year and then he has two more years left of eligibility? or is 2008 one year of his eligibility and then he has only one left in 2009?

Since he'll not play this year (think of it as a self-imposed redshirt year), he'll remain in the junior column for the 2009 season and move to the senior column for 2010. The chart is correct.
This is your baby, Oh8ch, so your wish is my command.
