Scenarios for Final CFP Playoff Rankings

Yep. Jerry Palm projects tOSU-Oklahoma in Atlanta, but I think they'll make that the matchup in Glendale.

He also shows Wiscy-Oregon in the Rose and Penn State-Memphis in the Cotton.

They should be more worried about how to prep for Ohio State or LSU. They haven’t faced anywhere near this level of competition all year. They have to adjust and go from 0 to 150.

Both of these top two squads have faced off against good to great teams. They’ve battled. Yes, Clemson might be more healthy, but they also haven’t had to play against anything in the realm of LSU or Ohio State.

Don’t be surprised if Clemson’s heads are spinning in the first half, regardless of who they play. These lines, QBs, RBs, etc. are ready for war. Is Clemson? Guess we’ll find out.

Dabo will play the disrespect card - already is.
But you're right, they haven't been blooded in a dog fight all year... just sort of sailed through.
From a schematic point, their staff has seen what Ohio State and LSU will do. They can see our DNA on tape in very competitive games.
We don't know what Clemson's identity is under pressure. Maybe they don't know either, but I doubt it -- Clemson has been pretty good at getting ready for these playoff games.

There's a possibility that the committee will keep tOSU number 1, but make them go to Arizona to play Oklahoma, because they'll want to have LSU-Clemson play in Atlanta for the overall benefit to all fan bases. Because #1 doesn't really get to pick, they just make sure they're not screwed.

Sign me up for that.

I'll take it for now.
But sign me up for the format where we get a Playoff in the Midwest, like every other conference and the NFL.
And the Final isn't in a handful of teams backyards (LSU) every couple years.
