well unfortunately my dad likes to be cheap and i suspect may try to get tix for as close to face value as possible but ofcourse he doesnt want to sit in the endzone or corners...and id personally like to be in 20-50 yd line zones even if its C deck....
if someone just offered 23C 20 rows up for 575 a pair...would you think thats a good price for this game---...or should i take my chances and a possible stress attack and wait for game day (possibly strangling my dad if he turns down too many offers and we dont end up buying tix till 5 min before/after the game starts--which has happened before LOL)
so would most of you consider 23C 20 rows up to be
-horrible
-bad
-okay
-good
-very good
-amazing
Im thinking between good and very good i hope, no obstructions there, right?
I think those seats are very good. If you like to watch the plays unfold, it's a great seat. I would offer $480 and see what they say. They may counteroffer, or they may sell. I got a seller to come down from $500 to $400 for a pair last week. Just saying....
Yeah man, congrats! I am in 7C. Not the closest seats in the stadium, but the price was too good to pass on. As I said before, I really like to watch everything unfold, so the seats are fine by me.
Just wanted to give a beginning of the week report on what I am finding by searching for tix.
There are about 20% of people that are still in the way overpriced range that probably won't sell until game day when they realize that no one will pay 1500 for 4 tix, no matter how good. link- http://columbus.craigslist.org/tix/1363233219.html
Students wont start dropping prices on their tix until Fri when they get worried so they still are putting them out there at 250-300ish not realizing that people that could afford that won't pay for Student tix or want to sit in south stands/upper corner of C deck. link- http://columbus.craigslist.org/tix/1363428232.html
The tix in pairs for decent to good seats that I have seen(where people are rational) is right now around 500-600 for the pair(decent C deck and A deck seats). My estimation is that with the continued media bombs being dropped more and more people will bail on there tix not wanting to have a long trip home if OSU loses. Also older ticket holders will start dropping prices soon due to knowing they can't and won't go at night when it's crazy.
I bet Scalpers will start in the morning about 250-300 per but start dropping prices around 4-5 pm.
A few links to Craigslist posts that show what I am finding in the decent priced range right now.
So again just be patient.. as far as confidence for the outcome of the USC game, the Navy game didn't help most, but it helps the ticket buyer if you wait it out.
