I'm not either. Obviously he can get better and I'm sure he will, but one issue I have is I thought he had great tools and if everything developed right like a Josh Allen you'd have a star. I don't even really see the star upside/ tools. I see a guy with good/not great tools. That is alarming with what they paid to get him.

Yeah it feels like they have the same ceiling but fields is further alng the path so I never got that pick besides a if we do it I'm an even better qb guru

Always nice to beat the PEDhawks.

That said, not leaving with a warm-fuzzy even after besting our chief rival pretty soundly.

Shanny is the most reckless coach in the league with his qbs. Loses Trey Lance early on running him up the gut, then on the game sealing drive, he runs his injury-prone backup including up the middle to score the TD when he has two good sized backs.

The OL isn't good. Don't get much push. Okay at best in pass protection.

On the positive side, the D looks beastly.

I'm assuming Trey is done for the year. Gonna have to win with the running game and defense.

Kyle saying they are still going to call a lot of QB power next year b/c it's a good play for them is pretty funny. I mean everyone understands that you can bang out some yards by running the QB up the middle. It's not b/c the play doesn't work teams don't run it

I'm not sure Lance is the future anymore. He has barely played football for three years and is getting called out by other QBs (Justin Fields) for taking so many shots. He's so far behind. Also, the Niners are just better with Jimmy G. The team seemed so excited for him to be in the game.
