San Francisco 49ers (official thread)

Season comes down to an OT win with a former scUMmer saving our bacon. Just how I always envisioned.

Don't have high hopes for much of a postseason run, though they have turned things around nicely winning 7/9 after that 3-5 start. Another year of "what could have been had we not been ravaged by injuries" for the most part. This feels like the Jimmy G farewell tour as i expect them to turn the reigns over to Lance next year.

Goodness gracious now that was a football game. I was ready to box Jimmy G for charity after that Ramsey pick
Barring an unlikely SB run, I feel like this is the Jimmy G farewell tour. I think they go with Trey Lance next season. I was encouraged by what I saw in his last start. He still needs some work, but his ceiling is vast in a Shanahan offense.

As bad as it has looked...this is a 7 pt game. Hold the line.

Agreed. I don't see how they can bring back Jimmy next year. He's so erratic, both in playing and whether or not he'll be healthy. After trading all that for Lance if you can't play him after a year and a half of having him that's a red flag. A big part of having a young QB is he's cheap. They need to use Jimmy's $27 million on some secondary and o-line help.

“They are definitely beatable,” Bosa said, via Jennifer Lee Chan of NBC Sports Bay Area. “There’s tape on them getting beat and we’re trying to do the same but they’ve definitely been in and out of the lineup this year and the past years so just game plan is to make them work.”

Dallas is absolutely beatable. But it depends on if we get Good Jimmy or Bad Jimmy. The Niners offense is perfectly designed to carve up Dallas, but if Jimmy is chucking it to the wrong team it won't matter.

If Deebo gets 200 yards from scrimmage, and he could, Niners in a romp. If Jimmy is missing guys, we get run.

Go Niners

My #2. Make me question why I root for the Browns instead.

I actually was a Niners fan as a kid and then kind of grew into the Browns. Not that anyone needs further proof of me being a total dumbass, but there it is.

Deebo and Bosa, though.
