I remember Darron Lee said he went head to head with Vonn Bell and that is how he earned his offer...I guess that tells you how Urban feels about Bell. I think we gotta get more of these georgia db's up here. Roby has been a fun one to watch, if Bell is a Buckeye, I can see Roby being his "big brother" next year before brad moves on to the league...

Folks, social media is banned in the recruiting forum unless it's coming from a journalist or news organization.

That means players, their coaches, their friends, their brothers, sisters, mother, father, uncles, aunts, and hangers-on are all off limits.

This really isn't that difficult to understand, is it? There's no shortage of other places that are willing to allow that kind of stuff to be discussed. You don't have to do it here.

It is because sometimes pictures are posted directly from players twitters and it gets by every time.

Then report it.

The only thing that is slightly murky is when certain OSU blogs post "news" which are typing out what they probably learned from a twitter feed.

I can't speak for other mods - I don't spend as much time in the recruiting forums as some others. I'll say that on the occasions where I've come across pictures from non-journalist social media I've deleted or split those posts.

Regardless, the discussion that was taking place here was pretty much a textbook case of why we don't allow certain types of social media here.

This is the most restricted and guarded area of our forums. A good rule of thumb is that if you think something you'd like to post is borderline or in some kind of gray area, it probably doesn't belong here.

ESPN $ - Coach reflects on Vonn Bell's OSU visit

Interview with Vonn's Coach....says that Vonn's dad told him that the visit was great and all their questions were answered. Also says Vonn had a great conversation with Coach Meyer towards the end of the visit and that Vonn has a great relationship with Coach Meyer.
