S Vonn Bell (All B1G, All-American, National Champion, Cincinnati Bengals)

?Alabama ? it just speaks for itself,? Bell said. They are in the national championship again. Coach Nick Saban, he?s a DB coach, and he?s going to be coaching me. So Coach Saban has got guys into the NFL, so his name speaks for himself.?

Anytime something like that slips out it's usually pretty much a done deal IMO. Mitchell did the same thing before committing to OSU, saying to someone about Bell "I don't know who he is, but we could use some safeties" or something similar. Of course, anything could happen after the OV, but i'd be very surprised if he picked OSU.

And there is zero chance that Bell would start next year. I've only skimmed the thread, but I thought I saw that suggested somewhere but maybe I didn't.

The star position seems tailor-made for someone with his skill-set, and he could possibly start at the star next year if he really impressed (I think Corey Brown and Bogard are the two candidates for the position). But yeah... if he's as good as people think he is, he'd be pretty much a lock to start his true sophomore year.

I thought he was the best looking safety, post season. He could grow into a LBer, though.

I respectfully disagree, with his elite range and ball skills. You shouldn't mess with that, to be honest, he may be one of the purest FS since Eric Berry (Who actually plays SS now...)
