I think Assistant coaches are overrated and overpaid. Heaven forbid we pay the one in a lifetime QB but we pay millions for the wr coach to go to strip clubs.

Doss out stumping for a position.
Could be interesting if he takes the Hartline route.
I wouldn't mind seeing him come on board as like a quality control coach or some lower level position to start. Best case scenario would be Coombs returning and also bringing on Mike Doss to potentially groom him as a future DB coach (and perhaps more) since as others have stated, Coombs may leverage a DC job into a HC position sooner rather than later.Wouldn't mind seeing this guy get a shot if Coombs doesn't take the job. Like Hartline it feels like more of a long term solution.

Hartline, Vrabel, Freeman and Fick don’t help your point but they’re outliers for sure...Buckeyes have fared better as radio and TV analysts.
