Thanks for the inside info H&G. I can't wait to see Tyler on the field. Although we all know he is too small and at least a step too slow, oh and I forgot too short :tongue2: he still seems to play like other Buckeyes who were too too many things also. He gets to the ball carrier in a hurry and he arrives with bad intentions.

Well, Tyler has signed...so I can now tell this quick little story. ( I promised that I would not tell it until signing day)

We all know Iowa and VT offered Tyler....

What most of you don't know is...


The night before Tyler became a Buckeye he received a call from the LB coach at tsun.
All of a sudden and out of the blue they found a free scholarship to offer Tyler!
Tyler's reply lasted all of 5 seconds. "I'm comitting to Ohio State tomorrow. But thanks, anyway!"

End of conversation.

How many Buckeye fans ever dreamed of being offered a scholarship from both schools and having the pure pleasure of telling tsun 'NO!'?


in any event, I promised my 'source' that I wouldn't post that until signing day.

Great story H&G. Man I love kids like this that already get the hatred towards scUM and waht it means to be a buckeye.

Tyler Moeller update.

Tyler is up to 210lbs. After Tyler signed his LOI, OSU sent him a weight lifting and body fat chart based on the LB position group. Tyler is already above the prescribed weight lifting goals and his body fat is down to 10%...Tyler will be a LB.

Also...no news from my Tyler 'source' regarding Clifford except to report a that Gene really does like OSU.

I would love to see that too, I work out alot and would love to have something to compare my routine/goals too

Tyler went for his max the other day and the threw up 22 reps at 225. Not bad for somebody who doesn't turn 18 until tomorrow.

Wow, that is very good, for someone that is considered small.

I think in a couple years Tyler is going to be a beast.

This probably isn't fair because who knows how many AJ was going for or if he was tired and what not, but Hawk did 24 reps of 225 on Pro Day. 22 reps for Tyler is outstanding!

Tyler update:

Tyler has been assigned uniform #26. Those close to him believe he will take a redshirt next season unless he proves (likely) too valuable to special teams...But the biggest news is that Tyler is now up to 214lbs...just six pounds away from his goal of 220. The kid is getting huge!

Kind of off-topic, but I was watching some Colerain-St.X highlights to get a look at Eugene Clifford, and Tyler Moeller was all over the place! It was the first time ive seen him play, and all I can say is wow...
