This makes me feel better about not getting an "impact DB" in our last recruiting class, especially because I know that this kid is NOT going to give one thought towards decommiting. Heart of a Buckeye.

Great start to the 2007 season! Now just wait til we win the MNC this year.

As far as that "impact" DB from the 2006 class, I wouldn't be so sure. We have a couple of great athletes coming in and they just might push for playing time. See Malcolm Jenkins for comparative history.

I love the part where he says other schools might try and get him to visit but he isn't going to. Personally I might like to go see other parts of the country for free .....but he is 100% buckeye and that's what I like to see.

Pretty safe to say he's at least a four-star, even if he should slip out of the top 100 because of his early commitment. I'll update him as a four-star in our 2007 database...I hate seeing our commits unrated.

Yeah you have to love that leader in the class that gets it all rolling.

I think if we could get a couple more guys in that we could be on our way to some very big things.

I was thinkin the same thing. Weird considering scUM fans are saying that Allen is already trying to recruit for them. Like the fact that he is going after Martin and Berry. I'm looking for both of them to be 5 stars. Also what I found interesting was he said corners and safeties from Wayne and Massilon. I would then think he means they are recruiting Gamble as a safety and Evege as a corner(though thats probably a given).
