S Kurt Coleman (All B1G, All-American)

No, he didn't mention it, but it will be the first thing I ask him about if he comes down to my work. He didn't really say much, just that he appreciated me following his career. Sounded really humble, grounded. I did mention BP to him and he said he was on right then. So maybe we'll get lucky and he'll register and post something sometime.

During Nevada's chat session on BN, someone asked him who he thought was the most underrated of the current commits. Nevada said that Coleman is a stud and a 5* recruit in the eyes of the OSU coaching staff. That's pretty high praise.

I think Coleman has a great shot at pt next season. If whitner goes I put it at 90% and if not I would say about 50-50.

Guys like Washington, Welch, Patterson, Lane, etc. havent proved anything yet, so if Coleman comes in and proves he should be on the field he will be.

I'm just wondering with your thinking, are you assuming O'Neal pretty much has a spot locked up? He has seen the field, but not fully proven himself, though everyone knows what a good DB he will be at this level.....

Well he did get some time this year leading me to believe he is ahead of all them guys on the depth chart.

Those guys all had thier chance to step in and play this year, but they were all passed by freshmen. Jenkins, Amos, JamO, so that is why I see there being a good chance that coleman could come in and play.

With our entire secondary leaving after this year is their any chance that Coleman might come in and start or at least get some serious pt next season?

Before the recent losses to our secondary, Coleman was going to get a shot on the offensive side of the ball, we will have to see. He is such a dangerous return guy with great speed. Needs will dictate where he ends up next year.
