S Jordan Fuller (All B1G, 3x Academic All-American, Super Bowl Champion, Los Angeles Rams)

Secondary actually wasn't really that bad, it was the linebackers again, big plays that were made were on running plays

Our safeties did a really bad job as the last line of defense. Bad angles, bad positioning. In fairness, Antuan Jackson owns one missed tackle on one of the breakaway runs, but our safeties are supposed to be the last line of defense. Today wasn’t a good look.

It was a bunch of kids back there and whoever gets the other spot (after yesterday Im thinking it will be Wint or Riep eventually) will grow all season, If it's still happening by Penn St then I'd be worried... still more worried about the Linebackers at this point, because they have beasts in front of them and they should be making plays. Werner was really the only bright spot there to me, but it's only one game so we'll see

And on those running plays the safeties took some awful angles. There's no denying they had a rough game. But it's only game 1 and I expect a lot of improvement

Im not saying the young guys at safety didn't take bad angles, hell im not saying they played good at all, im just saying that unit was missing its star and leader and were the last line of defense, but the linebackers have beasts in front of them wreaking havoc and they should have been making plays and keeping those long runs from even getting to that point, it's just one game, but if im worried about one unit after one game...it's the linebackers
