I am taking a few things from this game so far.....

1. F the SEC
2. Sullinger isn't just the best freshman in the country; he is the best PLAYER, period.
3. Lighty and Diebler have really developed into extremely solid players. Both know their roles and both fill their respective roles very well.
4. Lauderdale is an integral defensive presence down low.
5. As evidenced by flashes of brilliance in this game and others throughout the season, Craft and Thomas have an unbelievable amount of potential.
6. IMHO, this team is a better all-around team than last years team and the 2007 team. Sullinger is not the defensive presence that Oden was, but his offensive game is leaps and bounds better than Greg's. Cook was a great weapon....when he was on. Outside shooters aren't going to feel it every night, though. However, between Diebler and Buford I feel a lot better about my chances. I don't anticipate too many nights where neither Diebler nor Buford are on.

I have never enjoyed watching a basketball team as much as I have enjoyed watching this team this year. :oh:
