What guys did back then was get a “take home test drive”. The dealer lets them have the car for a couple of days to see how they like it. A lot of athletes abused the privilege.

The take-home-test-drive used to be common among the higher end clientele for dealerships. Not common among college students. Unless they were athletes

I remember having my 16 or 17th birthday party at Bob Huggins restaurant in Cincinnati. He had a garage attached to the building, and it was filled with luxury cars, and the license plates were the player's numbers :lol:

Yeah it seemed to spring up after Josh Pate stated Proctor is leaving Iowa and the spring portal will be chaos....which, we know, because it's the transfer portal and it is always chaos when it opens so that is nothing new. People wanted to latch onto names in the bid to be first after that.

1) With the rumors of him transferring back to Alabama. I sure hope he means that ↑.
2) With the talent at depth that Ohio State has in the WR room; he won't be going against any group like that every day in practice at any other school. Ohio State is where he should be if he actually wants to be the best that he can be. "Steel Sharpens Steel"
