Might sound a tad crazy considering we have a new QB and RB through the portal, plus JJ Smith coming in, but Downs is the one new guy I'm most excited to see next year. Adding him to our secondary that's coming back is just unfair.

Really really excited about Downs. I think the Buckeye defense has a lot of very sound/great players. But this is the playmaker that side has sorely missed. The ballhawk in centerfield but missile downhill. A Malik Hooker type.

Exactly my thoughts. Add sound defenders who are in the right place with a playmaker like Downs? Downright filthy. Exactly what we needed.
