If we can land Downs, however the DB class winds up will be just fine imo, although I do want to see Jermaine Matthews in the fold regardless of how things shake out.

Don't get me wrong, I would love to get Downs; he's a great player. But Matthews is not a level down from Downs, not in the least. (I recognize you posted this before Matthews committed ...)
